payment & Trip policies
- Call John 252-455-2707 or email at john@drumbeatfishing.com to discuss availability. Bookings are limited, if you’re traveling to the Outer Banks please contact to reserve your charter in advance.
- $100 non-refundable deposit (unless trip is cancelled by Captain) is due within 5 days of booking.
- Balance is due day of trip in cash or Venmo – credit cards not accepted for final payment.
Faq
- Can I bring my own fishing rod?
- Absolutely! Please limit to 1 per person.
- What if I get seasick?
- If you feel seasickness might be a problem, please consider taking medication, such as Dramamine, at least 45 minutes prior to the trip. No refunds will be issued due to seasickness.
- What should I bring?
- Camera, hat, sunglasses, light jacket (it’s cooler on the water than land), sunscreen (no aerosols), drinks & snacks (no glass containers)
- Do I need a fishing license?
- No, all passengers are covered by the boat’s license.
- What if it rains?
- We go fishing & sometimes the fishing is even better when it rains! If conditions are unsafe Captain will notify you to cancel.
- Can we keep what we catch?
- Yes- as long as it is legal and within NC state limits. Fish cleaning services are not provided.
- Do I have to tip the Captain?
- Only if you have a good time! It is customary to tip the Captain 15-20% of the trip fare.
